Docks
Depending on the type of work to be carried out, we lift the stern or stem of the boat out the water using our stem docks; the actual docking process rarely takes longer, in fact most of the time less than half an hour. This means we are able to reach propellers and leaks, to exchange the former and to carry out other necessary and current tasks.
No matter whether its a tanker, a bulk carrier or a pusher boat: we can dock all of them up to a length of 135 m and a width of 16.5 m without any problems.
Fitters shop
In our fitters shop we produce, among other things, the rudder blades for our HA-DU Hightech-Ruder. Of course, we are also able to repair your rudder, no matter who the manufacturer was: even so-called Becker rudders can be brought to “working” again.
This is also the place for “classic” ship fitter work such as repairs to pipes and their preparation for finishing the work aboard.
Here we weld, burn, saw, drill, file, bend, roll ... do everything and anything to manufacture and repair important parts and products.
Turning shop
We have in total 6 lathes in operation to produce and repair shafts. In 2009, we had a celebration as our latest lathe was put into service and with it, we can now produce and repair shafts with a length of up to 10 m.
This investment turned us also into a popular partner for other wharfs, so that we can proudly report that this investment paid off within the shortest possible time span.
Part of the portfolio of our excellently trained turners are also shaft bushes, rudder heads and rudder trunks.
Anchor production
Here of course we produce our HA-DU PowerAnker and our HA-DU SpezialAnker. No matter whether the parts are delivered or we cut them ourselves, the anchor parts are combined here and are welded together.
Welding boat
Our ADA is our powerful auxiliary boat and after total refitting in 2011 is as fit as ever: we use it to haul and aid ships.
